EDE 4944: CT Observation #2 Lesson Plan/ Video Reflection Chart/ Danielson Rubric

The FEAPs that I accomplished throughout this lesson are 1f and 3e. I accomplished 1f by having the students read the text, identify the important pieces and label them on a map, and then take that knowledge to complete the work sheet. This required students to use the information from the text as well as their background knowledge to understand how to read a map based off of latitude and longitude. I accomplished 3e by relating how this can be important in figuring out directions or trying to locate a place without technology. Most students had a hard time grasping the idea of not using technology but they began to understand with a little help from their friends. The students loved learning about how people could read maps using just latitude and longitude and get to their intended destination.
